What about it?

What about it?

To Go Or Not To Go

Suffering from constipation?

The reason I wanted to share this particular product with you is because I know I’m not the only one out there suffering from irregularity. Believe it or not, constipation is common and hardly serious. Almost everyone suffers from constipation at one point in their lives, or maybe all their lives.

According to Kathy Rickets in her article “Constipation Common But Rarely Serious”, More than 4 million Americans have frequent constipation, accounting for 2.5 million physician visits a year. Those reporting constipation are most often women and adults age 65 and older. Pregnant women may have constipation, and it is a common problem following childbirth or surgery.

Normally, people move their bowels 3-2 x a day or at least once a day . In this way, the body gets cleanse regularly, which means the toxins and all those wastes gets eliminated from the body.

Ssshh…Don’t Tell

No one wants to talk about it

No one ever wants to talk about constipation. Most people usually want to keep it to themselves. I mean, it certainly is not something to be proud of. However, you should know that you are not alone. . .

I hate admitting that I’m constipated, because I just think it’s too embarrassing. I mean, we’re all aware of those jokes people make: Did you see that face he made? LOL It looked like he was constipated. Most people don’t really know what constipation is about. Constipation is mostly when there is discomfort or difficulty in pooping. Or constipation could simply be not being regular, or in other words, you don’t really go as frequent as normal. In my case, it’s the latter. As a result, I feel bloated most of the times. Imagine not going for a week. Yes, very heavy bloating and plus, imagine the filth trapped in your body that gets accumulated.

In the end, you do not want people to know you are constipated.

Saving the Day. . .

Help! I’m Constipated!

My mom, again with her very helpful videos (she knew I was probably not going to listen again if she introduced a new product to me again…..how can she forget the total control persuation), featured Dr. Luigi Gratton talking about constipation. When I got past the technical sciency talk, such as the parts of the colon and stuff, I picked up this one idea he mentioned. He said,”Imagine you colon as being the toilet bowl of your body. . . not cleaning it for years and years.” This statement seriously made me jump out of my seat and run to my mom, “Mom where’s that aloe powder thingy?”
Just like it always ends, Supermom saved the day. After 3 days of loyally drinking the Herbal Aloe Powder, a difference was felt.

Done Business

*Flushing Toilet*

As I’ve said, that miracle powder drink changed everything.

No more difficulty or discomfort. . . it feels good.

And would you believe me if I said no more bloating? You should! All i know is I am glad to get rid of the uneasiness and unpleasant feeling of bloating. I was very thankful for Hebalife, and of course my mom and her enlightening videos.

Imagine the toilet bowl being cleaned. . .Refreshing image isn’t it?

A Little Story

Featuring Fiona Fiber

Are kids getting enough fiber in their diet? Or do they even know the importance of Fiber?

Well, I made this little fiction story for children. In my Fitness Lifestyle class, I was asked to make a short story about one nutrient, mainly appealing to small children.

I wanted to share this story as a little something extra since I’m talking about Fiber, might as well right? =]

Note:
Yes, I know. The picture makes you want to pull out a magnifying lens! The file size was too big to upload on here though. But here you go, a direct link to a larger image: Fiona Fiber Saves The Day

How Does It Feel?

Due to irregularity, and difficulty in bowel movement, people who are constipated normally feel bloating, abdominal pain, or nausea. In some cases, vomiting also becomes a symptom.Overall, constipation is not at all fun. Don’t let your body control you or prevent you from feeling relieved as you should.
Prevent constipation. . . Be the Boss of you own body!

Everyone Needs To Know

What causes constipation. . .

Here’s a list I’ve pulled off WebMD on Digestive Disorders
1.)Not Enough Water Intake
2.)Not Enough Fiber In Diet
3.)Disruption of Regular Routine or Resisting Urge
4.)Inadequate Activity/Exercise or Immobility
5.)Too Much Dairy
6.)Stress or Depression
7.)Pregnancy

Water You Doing?

LoL I felt like putting up a Punny title to catch your attention.I personally do not drink a lot of water. For some people it’s a habit of drinking water, so good for you! However, for people like me, I have to watch myself and make sure I drink sufficient amount of water each day. When a person is constipated, normally the stool is hard, which is why pooping becomes a difficult business, yes it’s hard (wow, no pun intended).

BUT WHAT IS A SOLUTION?

You guessed it! WATER!

In that video that I watched, Dr. Gratton explained how constipation happens. Basically, when food is digested in the stomach and pushed through the small intestine, the water content is absorbed in the colon or large intestine. As the fecal matter moves through the large intestine, water is absorbed. Once the stool reaches the rectum, it can get dry and hard because most of the water has already been absorbed. As a result, hard, dry stools make bowel movement uncomfortable or even painful, in other words constipation.

So Get A Glass Of Water Right Now! Prevent Constipation

Some people however don’t like drinking water, sometimes because they don’t like the taste of water (trust me, my mom’s friend actually said that). Well, my mom’s solution was H30. A powder mix which tastes like Gatorade when mixed with water. It comes in Orangeade and Lemonade flavors.

Do Not Resist

You know when you gotta go.You know when something in your body is saying, “Release me at once!”

The point here is, don’t keep it in and poison yourself! Don’t try to hold it back just because you’re in class and you don’t want people to laugh or talk about you when you come back to class half an hour later.
Who cares?! If you find yourself with toxins trapped in your body, you ain’t gonna be blaming them, but yourself.

Aside from causing constipation, resisting the urge or any disruption of your regular routine can cause. . . HEMORRHOIDS!
Refrain from resisting your body’s natural flow, or you’ll find yourself depending on laxatives which is so NOT a good idea. Once your body gets used to those laxatives, it will become dependent, which means that it will become entirely incapable of doing the job itself.

Crime Prevention

How to do I prevent going when I’m not at home or just in a bad timing?

I myself also got to that point where I constantly used rectal suppositories to make myself poop. Soon enough, of course I became dependent on these. My doctor warned me to stop doing what I was doing and cure constipation the right way, the natural way.Doctor’s Number 1 Advice:
Schedule – Train your body to go during a certain time, a convenient time when you’re usually home and relaxed. For instance, after school/work, first thing in the morning before you go to school/work or whatever time may be convenient for you. Regulate your bowel movements, train your body. Most importantly, be the Boss of your body and tell IT when YOU want to go. You can take as long as you like in the bathroom because as soon as the brain realizes what you’re trying to do, everything else gets to work.

The AM/PM Program renews and revitalizes your colon using a cleansing formula.

Be More Active

Here’s an idea. . . Get off the couch! Go outside and run while getting some Vitamin D from the sun.Another cause of constipation is inactivity. Make room for a little exercise in your busy schedule. I know you’re busy with important things such as work or homework, but there is no excuse not to have time for at least 15 minutes to move those muscles. You’re working and studying for your own good, but you health comes first right? If you said no, well you should know that it does because everything else in your life right now depends on you.

Got Milk?

Too much Dairy

Too much dairy in your diet will make the cow angry!Well no, cows don’t mind donating milk to the needy human population.

As we all should know, everything should be kept in moderation. Too much of anything can be a bad thing. Dairy contributes to good health and plays a part in good nutrition. However, too much of it can also cause constipation.

So cut down on dairy products, and only eat ENOUGH. Hey, maybe the cows would be glad if you gave them a break for once. ;)

Chillax

Take A Deep Breath

Believe it or not, stress or depression can be a cause for constipation.Because everyone nowadays is always preoccupied with a lot of things, not to mention also experience some sort of drama in their lives, health is often neglected.

I mean, women alone display this sort of neglect when they are depressed (usually heartbroken) chow down on a gallon of ice cream while drowning in tears watching some depressing movie.
Another example would be for those people or college students who have hectic schedules each day. Normally, they eat what is fastest and most convenient. And the solution most of the times — vending machines. These vending machines are infested with HIGHLY UNHEALTHY foods!

When people are depressed or stressed out, they typically don’t make the right choices mainly because they are too immersed in their “issues”. So wipe off those tears or wipe off that frown and Chillax! Or better yet, relax while sitting on that toilet.

Pregnancy Is Also A Cause

Apparently, pregnancy causes constipation. Most moms out there probably already know this.

If you are curious and want to know more about pregnancy and constipation, this article explains

Constipation During Pregnancy.

In Conclusion. . .

Constipation is nothing serious so don’t be scared. Instead, do something about it and treat yourself to a healthy nutrition.

Think about it, constipation is merely a symptom — perhaps of your body telling you ,”I need Fiona Fiber!” ; ]

Everyone needs a healthy digestive tract. No one surely doesn’t need bloating, abdominal pain, nausea, or discomfort in their lives.Herbal Aloe Powder is a soothing, relieving powder mix for your colon. This is what cured me and helped me during those. . . rough times.

FYI: This is not a laxative. This product’s main purpose is to calm occasional indigestion or constipation while also supporting the immune system. Unlike laxatives, Herbal Aloe does not induce bowel movement, instead it gradually renews and cleanses the colon for long-lasting results.

Active Fiber Complex

We’ve all heard about it. . .Fiber.What is Fiber?
Now, I can go into detail and all that science talk I pulled out of Wikipedia — Dietary fiber consists of non-starch polysaccharides such as cellulose and many other plant components such as dextrins, inulin, lignin, waxes, chitins, pectins, beta-glucans and oligosaccharides.

But seriously. . . in English Fiber is basically just nutrient that is essential for digestion, and responsible for easing the pooping process. Fibers are non-digestible and found in plants. High sources of Fiber can be whole wheat bread, cereal, oats etc. and also in some vegetables and fruits like celery and apples.
